A sonically enhanced UV finish protects both the instrument and tonal quality, and is now available in a new Light Burst color option in addition to Natural Gloss. Featuring superior strength and dense grains along with the flexibility to resonate freely, the premium grade solid Sitka spruce top on the Gold Series is ideal for virtually any musical genre with a brilliant and clear high-end, warm and rich midrange, and a deep but tight low-end for a beautifully balanced sound.
SOLID PAU FERRO BACK AND SIDES
Pau Ferro, also known as Morado, Santos Rosewood or Bolivian Rosewood boasts many of the qualities that are highly regarded in tonewood that is close to Indian Rosewood. It's stable, abrasion resistant, hard, attractive, exotic and has good impression strength parallel to the grain.
DOUBLELOCK NECK JOINT
The connection between a guitar’s neck and body is another key factor for great sound. On the Gold, we started with a tight fitting traditional dovetail neck joint. We then reinforced it by adding a bolt. This DoubleLock neck joint maximizes the transfer of tone and enhances resonance on the Gold.
WALNUT REINFORCED NECK
The neck on the Gold has been reinforced for added rigidity and stability using two special inserts. This is constructed with two pieces of walnut installed to add stability while still retaining the natural properties of wood to further upgrade the Gold.
EBONY FINGERBOARD
There are many types of woods that are used for fingerboard but no other compares to the jet-black beauty and slick smoothness of Ebony.
EBONY BRIDGE PINS
The high density of Ebony wood keeps the fundamental acoustic sound focused and tight with greater sonic projection than plastic, enhancing the transfer of the string vibrations throughout the soundboard top, body and the neck.
GENUINE BONE NUT & SADDLE
For the most natural and organic sound and feel, there is nothing quite like genuine bone for the saddle and the nut, two critical contact points for the strings to vibrate freely and transfer that energy into the woods of the guitar.
